Description Bilberry fruit ( Myrtilli fructus) is a medicinal product in the form of an herbal infusion, which is used as an adjuvant in diarrhea. Bilberry fruit can be used by children over 12 years of age and adults. Composition The active substance of the drug is the fruit of the bilberry (Murtilli fructus). 1 g of the product contains 1 g of blueberry fruit. Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any further questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.Bilberry fruit is taken orally in the form of an infusion. If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 1-2 days of using the product, contact your doctor. Preparation of the infusion: 1-2 tablespoons of blueberry fruit (i.e. about 10- 20 g ) pour 1 cup (150 ml) of boiling water over it. Then, cover and steep for 10 to 15 minutes and strain.Adults and children over 12 years of age: drink 1 cup of fresh, cooled infusion 3 times a day. Indications As an adjuvant in diarrhea. Contraindications When not to use Bilberry Fruit: in case of allergy to the bilberry fruit. Side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Warnings and precautions You should contact your doctor if you experience abdominal pain, fever, nausea, vomiting, mucus, pus, blood in your stool, or other disturbing symptoms. It is not recommended for use in children, diarrhea in children should be treated by a pediatrician. Storage: Store in closed containers at a temperature not higher than 30°C . Protect from light, moisture and foreign odors. Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Bilberry fruit may interact with: anticoagulants, medicines containing acetylsalicylic acid. Bilberry fruit is not recommended for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Use of the drug in children and adolescents Not to be used in children under 12 years of age.
