Instructions for use Before measuring, it is important to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Then insert a new lancet into the lancing device, remove the cap, and set the desired puncture depth. After inserting a BGStar® test strip into the meter, take a blood sample from your fingertip and hold it against the tip of the test strip. Warnings Do not use expired or damaged BGStar® test strips, as this can lead to inaccurate readings. Keep test strips and the test strip container out of the reach of children to avoid the risk of ingestion. Contact with desiccants can be harmful.
