BEVERAGE Description Sterile, single-use lancets. The lancet is intended for professional and personal use. The target patient group is adults and children over 2 years of age. Check the external integrity of the packaging and the completeness of the contents. Before use, ensure that the lancets are not visibly damaged and that the packaging material has been removed. If in doubt, do not use the device and consult the distributor or contact the indicated Customer Service. The lancet, together with the lancing device, is designed to take a blood sample from the fingertip to measure the glucose level in human capillary blood. How to use Only use lancets with a Beurer lancing device. If other lancing devices are used, proper functioning cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, if the lancet and lancing device are not compatible, the lancing device may be permanently damaged. 1. Insert the lancet into the lancing device and remove the protective disc with a twisting motion. 2. Read the instructions for use of the lancing device. If you are using the lancing device from the Beurer basic set, please refer to the instructions for use of the measuring system. 3. After use, insert the lancet needle into the protective disc (c). warnings - Do not use the lancet after the expiration date. - Do not use the lancet if the protective cap has been removed from it. - Do not store the lancet in the lancing device. - If the lancing device with the lancet inserted falls to the floor, carefully pick it up and throw away the lancet. - The lancet is for single use only and should not be reused. If reused, the lancet becomes blunt and painful. - Thoroughly clean the area where the injection is to be given. - For each test, change the sampling site, for example, a different finger or the other hand. Repeated pricking of the same site can cause inflammation, loss of sensation, or scarring. - Keep out of reach of children. Risk of infection: The lancet comes into contact with human blood and is therefore a possible source of infection. Therefore, strictly follow the precautions generally in force for handling blood.
