For pimples and acne Benzaknen Wash 5% contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide and is a suspension for use in the treatment of mild to moderate acne. It helps with blackheads, pimples, and inflammatory lesions. The wash lotion has an antibacterial effect and can eliminate up to 94% of all bacteria. This helps prevent new breakouts. The lotion is suitable for all areas of the skin prone to acne, such as the face, chest, shoulders, or back. Application: The affected skin areas are treated once daily. In severe cases, or to enhance the therapeutic effect, the dosage can be increased to twice daily. Note: The active ingredient in Benzaknen, benzoyl peroxide, can bleach (discolor) or change the color of hair (including eyebrows) and colored textiles. These effects can occur through direct contact with the product as well as through indirect contact, e.g., via the hands or treated skin.
