Holding the pipette upright, tap the neck section to ensure that the contents fall back into the pipette body. 2. Carefully cut off the top of the pipette with scissors. 3. Apply the contents of one pipette to the top of your cats head, between the ears. The spot-on should be applied at least 15 minutes before a potentially stressful situation. If your cat gets very wet, for example in heavy rain or after a bath, reapply the drops, as the calming effect may be reduced. If you use a spot-on flea treatment, its usually applied between the animals shoulder blades.
