Balneum Plus Cream Description Balneum Plus cream, based on urea and Laureth-6, can be usefully used in skin conditions characterised by dryness, accompanied or not by annoying skin sensations. Urea is normally present on the skins surface as a component of sweat. Together with carbohydrates, amino acids, lactic acid, and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, it constitutes the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), essential for maintaining proper skin hydration and elasticity. Used topically, urea can retain water in the stratum corneum, thereby increasing skin elasticity and softness. Laureth-6 induces a feeling of well-being in the skin and soothes discomfort not due to pathological causes. The Balneum Plus cream vehicle also includes fatty and humectant substances, such as paraffin and glycerol, which help maintain the right level of moisture, elasticity and softness of the skin. How to use Suitable for daily use all over the body, especially on smaller areas of skin such as hands, elbows, or knees. Apply the cream and gently massage into the skin. If necessary, apply several times a day.
