Contains polyhexanidine, is non-irritating, non-toxic, does not dry out the skin and mucous membranes, thus guaranteeing tissue and skin tolerance. Products with polyhexanidine are recommended by the German Society for Hospital Hygiene (DGHM) for whole body hygiene. Does not induce drug resistance. Product recommended for preoperative preparation.Area of ​​application: In hospital conditions: in patients in the perioperative period, patients with wounds, vascular access, urinary catheter, nasal probe. In specialist long-term care (ZOL, DPS). As an adjunct to the treatment of inflammation of the nasal mucosa and skin around the nostrils.Action : It effectively eradicates multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs), including MRSA/MSSA, VRE, and ESBL. How to useProntoderm Nasal Gel: After cleaning the ear/nose, apply Prontoderm Nasal Gel three times daily using a new swab/cotton bud, one at a time, to each ear/nostril.
