Description Avance® Solo A medical device in the form of disposable polyurethane foam for filling open wounds. The foam is used in the treatment of postoperative wounds (ciNPWT) and open wounds (dNPWT): chronic, acute, post-traumatic, subacute wounds, pressure ulcers, and post-transplant wounds using a negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) system. This system additionally requires a dressing, pump, and Avance® Solo container. The foam ensures a perfect fit in anatomically challenging areas, such as the knee, absorbing and retaining exudate. Package contents 1 piece of foam measuring 10 cm x 12 cm x 1.5 cm. Product purpose Used in advanced NPWT therapy for patients with difficult-to-treat wounds – ideal where precise fit, effective exudate drainage and maintaining proper healing conditions are essential. Product use After cleansing the wound, insert the foam directly into the wound, adjusting its shape and size. Apply the adhesive and connect it to the NPWT system – the foam will provide optimal conditions for therapy. This single-use product should be safely disposed of after therapy is completed. Contraindications and precautions Before use, please read the instructions for use or the label. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the products ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture. Do not use if the packaging has been previously opened or damaged. Notes and precautions The Avance Solo Negative Pressure Wound Therapy System, Avance Solo dressings and Avance Solo Foam should only be applied or changed by qualified healthcare personnel. Be careful with deep wounds – the selection of appropriate therapeutic material should be made in accordance with the doctors recommendations.
