What is it and what is it used for? Atopivet oral suspension for dogs and cats is a product that helps improve the health of the skin of dogs and cats. It contains components that are easily absorbed by the body. One of these is the Nucleoforce® complex, which provides various nucleotides that help repair the natural skin barrier. This results in better protection against pollution and infectious agents in the environment. Hyaluronic acid is the active ingredient that helps repair damaged tissues. It helps the body produce more elastin and collagen, making the epidermis more resilient. It also helps keep the skin hydrated, soft and smooth. This last aspect also helps minimize any discomfort that the pet may feel. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) helps to minimize the inflammation that usually accompanies dermatitis. In this case, it helps to regenerate tissues. Finally, vitamin E is both a protective and nourishing ingredient. It enhances the effects of the other ingredients mentioned, while providing a soft texture to the animals fur. Who is it for? It is indicated for dogs or cats that have recently suffered from conditions that alter their skin or cause dermatitis. Instructions for use This treatment should be carried out for at least 4 weeks and is administered as follows: If the pet weighs less than 10 kg, only 2 ml per day is administered. From 10 to 20 kg in weight, 4 ml per day can be used. If your baby weighs between 20 and 30 kg, you can give him 6 ml every day. Animals weighing more than 30 kilograms are given a maximum of 8 ml per day. This solution should always be taken orally. An excess may cause side effects or pain. Always store in a cool, dry place to maintain the quality of the ingredients. Contraindications Do not administer to animal if allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
