Artelac UV is a unique and certified Personal Protection Equipment that protects the cornea, lens and retina against UV radiation, light blue light, artificial light sources and prolonged exposure to sunlight, preventing problems such as photokeratitis, photokeratoconjunctivitis, cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Artelac UV provides hydration and protection of the ocular surface. Artelac UV can be used together with contact lenses. Mechanism of action: ARTELAC UV acts as a protective layer for the surface of the eye against UV radiation and blue light and improves surface lubrication ocular, contributing to the protection of the corneal epithelium against various sources of stress. Sodium hyaluronate mechanically interacts with the mucin layer of the tear film, retaining water and promoting lasting stability of the ocular surface.
