Description: Artelac Complete, with its 3-in-1 solution, mimics the three layers of the natural tear film, thus specifically alleviating its deficiencies. This eye moisturizer reduces evaporation by stabilizing the outer layer and intensively hydrating the eyes surface. Its proven formula makes it suitable for the most common forms of dry eye. The surface of the eye is already well supplied with one drop of Artelac Complete. Artelac Complete MDO is available in the proven system of a special pump mechanism. This eye lubricant is buffer- and preservative-free and therefore very well tolerated. Furthermore, the bottle is characterized by its intuitive handling and safe, easy application. What is Artelac Complete MDO? Artelac Complete MDO is a milky eye drop solution containing 0.24% hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), carbomer, glycerol, a lipid component (medium-chain triglycerides), sodium hydroxide and water for injection. The innovative formulation exhibits very good tolerability, as it is free of preservatives and buffers. Once opened, the product can be used for 6 months. What is Artelac Complete MDO used for? Artelac Complete MDO is an eye moisturizer that replenishes all three layers of the tear film to improve the moisturization of the eye surface in cases of dryness. When should you use Artelac Complete MDO? Artelac Complete MDO contains the natural moisturizer hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), which occurs in the structures of a healthy human eye and the natural tear film, as well as two other moisturizers: glycerol and carbomer. In addition, Artelac Complete MDO contains a lipid component, thus supplementing all three layers of the tear film: the lipid layer, the aqueous layer, and the mucin layer. Artelac Complete MDO is designed to remain on the surface of the eye, providing intense moisture for immediate and long-lasting relief from symptoms. The product is suitable for anyone suffering from various symptoms of dry eyes, such as tired, strained, irritated, burning, and/or watery eyes. How often and for how long should Artelac Complete MDO be used? Apply one drop of Artelac Complete MDO to the eye as needed. You can use the drops daily and as often as you like. There is no limit to the duration of use. How should Artelac Complete MDO be used? Thanks to the patented pump mechanism of Artelac Complete MDO, the eye drop solution requires no preservatives. General note: Wash your hands before each use. Avoid contact between the bottle tip and your fingers or eyes to prevent possible contamination of the solution or eye injury. Before each use, remove the transparent white protective cap from the bottle tip with a twisting motion. Attention! Before first use or if the bottle has not been used for some time: Point the bottle with the tip downwards and repeatedly press the pump mechanism until a drop is released. Hold the bottle as shown: Place your thumb on the ergonomic thumb rest and encircle the lower part with your fingers. Two fingers should be positioned on the bottom of the bottle. Hold the bottle with the tip pointing downwards. Tilt your head back slightly. Gently pull down your lower eyelid with a finger of your free hand and hold the bottle vertically above your eye as shown. Carefully squeeze the pump mechanism to dispense one drop into your eye. Then close your eye and blink to distribute the drop evenly across the surface of your eye. In these cases, treatment must be discontinued. If persistent discomfort or irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor or pharmacist. Blurred vision may occur temporarily after instilling the product, which could impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. Do not touch the surface of the eye with the bottle tip to avoid possible injury to the eye surface or contamination of the solution. To avoid possible contamination of the solution, do not touch the bottle tip with your fingers. Once opened, do not give the bottle to other people for their use. Careless use of the product contrary to the instructions may cause it to slip out of your hand and result in eye injuries. Remove contact lenses before use. Wait approximately 15 minutes after application before applying any other product to your eye or reinserting your contact lenses. Dispose of the medical device 6 months after first opening. Do not use after the expiration date. Do not use if the packaging or bottle is damaged. Artelac Complete MDO contains small plastic parts that could be swallowed by children. Choking hazard. Therefore, Artelac Complete MDO must be kept out of the reach of children. No special training is required to use this product. Based on current knowledge, this product can be used by pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children. If your child suffers from dry eyes, talk to a doctor before using an eye moisturizer. How should Artelac-Complete MDO be stored? Store the product between +1°C and +25°C. Thanks to the bottle design, Artelac Complete MDO can be used for 6 months after opening. Disposal: The product must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Any serious incidents occurring in connection with the product should be reported to the manufacturer and the relevant authority.
