A strip of gel approximately 0.5 cm long is sufficient.Internal : For vaginal application, it should be applied once daily, preferably in the evening before bedtime. Insert a strip of gel approximately 2 cm long with a clean finger and spread the gel inside the vagina. Use a protective sheath if necessary. For acute symptoms: For acute symptoms, daily application for 7-10 days is recommended. To maintain lubrication after symptoms subside, one application every three days or as needed is sufficient. Before first use: Before using the tube for the first time, unscrew the cap and press it upside down onto the tube opening to open the membrane seal. Consult a doctor if you experience: severe symptoms due to dryness before using Arifem® hydro;persistent or recurring symptoms; orworsening vaginal symptoms while using Arifem® hydro. It is not known whether and to what extent Arifem® hydro can impair the effectiveness of vaginally used contraceptives. It is also not known whether the tear resistance of condoms, and therefore their protective function, is affected when Arifem® hydro is used concurrently with condoms.
