AQUILEA DIGEST TOTAL Description Medical device in the form of an orodispersible powder stick, containing calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, sodium citrate and simethicone. Once in the gastroesophageal lumen, the product neutralizes the pH of gastric juices and acid vapors, providing a protective and soothing effect on the gastroesophageal mucosa, quickly combating pain and heartburn caused by hyperacidity. Simethicone, a substance that reduces the surface tension of gas bubbles in the gastrointestinal tract, facilitating their expulsion, reduces the sensation of bloating and promotes abdominal distension. It also contains 8 digestive enzymes that help improve food digestion (their breakdown into smaller elements, easily absorbed by the intestine), preventing the effects of malabsorption and, consequently, relieving some typical symptoms of dyspepsia, such as bloating, epigastric discomfort and pain, postprandial nausea, belching after meals and abdominal distension. How to use Adults and children over 12 years of age: We recommend administering the contents of one stick directly into the mouth. Administer after main meals and in the evening before bedtime.
