Instructions for use Learn how you can easily dye your hair yourself at home with APIVITAs new My Color Elixir hair dye. Preparation and application - First use Follow these steps: 1. Protect your clothes by placing a towel over your shoulders while applying the dye and remove any jewelry. Wear the gloves provided in the package. Apply a small amount of oil near the crown of your hair to avoid dyeing your skin. 2. Empty the entire contents of the dye cream tube (A) into the color activator vial (B). Mixing ratio: 1:1.5 3. Close the cap of the bottle (B) and shake until the mixture is homogeneous. Immediately cut off the tip of the applicator of the color activator bottle (B) and begin application IMMEDIATELY. 4. Apply the mixture to dry hair, starting from the roots to the ends, using the tip of the bottle applicator (B) to separate the hair strands. Apply the remaining product evenly to your hair and massage gently. The mixture doesnt run. 5. Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. 6. If your hair color has faded, apply the remaining mixture along the length of your hair. Leave the product on for another 5-10 minutes. 4. Complete the process by following steps 6 to 8. Tips for professional results • To avoid the color build-up effect (light roots-darker ends) with repeated dyeing, leave the dye on the lengths for only 5-10 minutes (repeated use process). For monthly use, we recommend repeating the process only on the roots. • The final color result you desire for your hair is the combination of the base of the hair, whether it has a natural color or is dyed, and the dye shade you choose. • If your hair has highlights, it may take more than one application to achieve an even color. For better coverage, choose one of the basic colors (X.0). If the highlights have been done with bleaching, there is a possibility that the reflections of the selected shade may be altered. In this case, mid-tones (X.1) and very dark tones should be avoided. • In case you use half a tube of paint, save the remaining quantity for next use. The paint must be applied immediately after mixing with the activating emulsion. The mixed paint cannot be stored and used again. It is important to keep the correct mixing ratio (1:1.5) because if this is changed, then the color performance will not be correct and the coverage of the whites will be insufficient. • If you have had a perm or straightening, wait 15 days before dyeing your hair. • If you have dyed your hair with henna or semi-permanent dye, wait for the dye to completely disappear in order to achieve an even result.
