ALEGRO ELASTIC ZINCGEL Description Class I Medical Device (Directive 93/42/EEC). Single use. Non-sterile. Zinc oxide bandage. Support and compression bandage. Easy to apply, skin-friendly, and gelatin-free. Highly adhesive edges prevent fraying. Low-moisture, quick-drying bandage. Used in the management and treatment of phlebological conditions such as venous ulcers, venous edema, and thrombophlebitis. For support and relief bandages in the treatment of dislocations, sprains, bruises, and tenosynovitis. Recommended after removal of casts and in the management of post-traumatic edema. Latex free. Components 61% viscose, 39% polyamide. Composition of zinc oxide paste: Zinc oxide, hydrocolloids, dextrins, glycerin, purified water; Preservatives: E 216, E 218. Zinc oxide paste: 78% ±2% Warnings Do not use if: Peripheral arterial disease; Myocardial failure; Septic phlebitis; on patients with arterial diseases; on diabetic patients with advanced vascular disease. Cover with a tubular bandage to prevent stains on clothing. To prolong the cooling effect and avoid skin irritation, keep the bandage moist every day. If the bandage is too stiff or too dry to remove, moisten it with warm water. Single-use product. Always apply to clean, dry skin. Do not apply the bandage with excessive tension to avoid constricting ties. To secure dressings, apply the bandage loosely from the center to the end of the dressing. Never connect one end and pull the bandage to secure the other end (this may cause skin damage). Conservation Store in a cool (between 5°C and 30°C), dry place.
