PLEASE NOTE: This is an add-on for the game. To run, you must have the Polish version of Age of Empires III installed on your hard drive. The base game followed the struggles of European nations attempting to conquer North and South America. To achieve their goals, they enlisted the aid of the indigenous inhabitants of these regions. The expansion focuses more on the civilizations and societies created by the Native Americans, introducing three new nations. The first is the Great Iroquois Confederacy (also known as the League of Five Nations, founded in 1570 by the Cayuga, Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, and Seneca tribes), which protects the interests of the Native Americans during European expansion. This tribe possesses the greatest firepower of all the factions implemented in the expansion. The Iroquois possess fearsome artillery and siege engines. The second nation presented in the expansion is the Sioux. These Native Americans base their army on horse-mounted units, capable of making quick and precise attacks on enemy positions. The final new faction is the Aztecs, who possess very strong infantry.
