AEROSOL THERAPY TUBE Medical device: Class I when used as general air hoses. Class IIA if used as tubes for aerosol devices. Designed for connecting air sources to nebulizer bottles or centralized systems. The device consists of a 1.5 m long F/F tube and two universal adapters for connecting the air source to nebulizer bottles or centralized systems. How to use Cleaning The tube and adapters can be washed in hot water using a small amount of non-abrasive detergent and rinsed under running water. Before storage, the tube and adapters should be dried on the outside and allowed to air dry until the inside is dry. Any residual moisture from the tube and adapters should be removed before use to prevent water from entering the motor through the tube and damaging it. Disinfection The tube and adapters, after washing, can be immersed in a cold disinfectant solution (such as a 5.25% sodium hypochlorite solution), following the manufacturers instructions (be sure to read the warnings and check that the disinfectant solution is compatible with the material from which the tube is made).
