Product features: Actilite Non-adherent viscose mesh coated with 99% Manuka honey and 1% Manuka oil Description: Actilite is a gently adhesive gauze wound dressing coated with Activon (Manuka honey and Manuka oil). The dressing supports the natural wound healing process and facilitates the passage of exudate through the gauze. The combination of Manuka oil and Activon honey in Actilite makes the product particularly valuable for wound treatment. Application: The dressing is easy to apply and adheres gently to the surrounding skin, but not to the wound bed. The hygroscopic effect of Activon+ promotes a moist healing environment. Please use a secondary dressing of your choice, such as an absorbent dressing or a semipermeable film, depending on the condition of the wound. We recommend, for example, Eclypse Adherent. Actilite can also be used in conjunction with Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). Actilite is a single-use product. Using it on more than one patient may lead to cross-contamination or infection. Opening the dressings packaging compromises the sterility barrier. All unused dressings must be discarded. Indications: Suitable for use on all wounds where a primary dressing is indicated.
