Physiotulle Description Advanced non-adherent dressing that creates the ideal moist environment for the wound healing process with the release of silver ions, transported via sulfadiazine salt, as an antimicrobial agent, for continuous and controlled action for up to 7 days. The product, combined with a secondary dressing, plays an important role in protecting the wounds. Colonized, critically colonized, or impaired or delayed healing wounds that are low to highly exuding (depending on the secondary dressing used). Superficial burns and skin abrasions, donor sites, and critically colonized surgical wounds. Chronic lower extremity ulcers, pressure ulcers, and critically colonized diabetic foot lesions. The composition of Physiotulle Ag makes the dressing highly adaptable to different types of lesions, and can also be used in cavity or tunnel lesions. If deemed necessary, the dressing can be cut before use. Components Polyester mesh coated with Vaseline (81%, lipid component), containing CMC particles (15%, colloidal component) and silver ions, transported through sulfadiazine salt (4%). Sulfadiazine (SSD) is homogeneously distributed within the dressing. Warnings Do not use Physiotulle Ag in subjects with known hypersensitivity to silver and its derivatives.
