ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Description Sterile dressing with a silicone layer intended for use on highly exuding wounds. The dressing is composed of a breathable, waterproof non-woven polypropylene layer, a super-absorbent core composed of layers of non-woven cellulose with sodium polyacrylate powder, a breathable polypropylene fabric layer, and finally, a soft silicone wound contact layer. The multi-layered design facilitates fluid management and creates an optimal moist wound environment, promoting faster healing. The absorbent pad provides enhanced absorption and traps exudate away from the wound bed, minimizing the risk of maceration and damage to the periwound skin. ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing is indicated for the management of moderately to highly exuding wounds, including: -Ulcers of the lower limbs -Pressure ulcers -Diabetic foot ulcers -Dehiscence of surgical wounds. ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing. Sterilization method: ethylene oxide. Latex free. How to use After cleansing the wound, select the appropriate dressing to ensure adequate space around the wound edge. ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing can be used as either a primary or secondary dressing. As a primary dressing, it should be in close contact with the wound bed to ensure fluid absorption. The white surface should be in contact with the skin, while the blue, impermeable side should be kept away from the body. Although ConvaMax Superabsorber Adhesive Dressing is inherently adhesive, additional support may be required with a retaining dressing or a medium to moderate compression bandage. The frequency of dressing changes depends on the amount of exudate. Dressing removal can be facilitated by moistening it with saline solution. Dispose of as hospital waste. If contaminated, follow local regulations. Maximum time spent on site: 7 days. Warnings Do not use on lesions with arterial bleeding and heavily bleeding lesions.
