Instructions for use To help reduce or prevent stress during travel: About 15 minutes before placing the animal in the carrier or car, spray 8 to 10 times. Apply one spray to one of the four corners and two sprays to each side of the carrier. The effect lasts approximately 4-5 hours. On long journeys, reapply after 4-5 hours. Keep the animal out for at least 15 minutes to allow the alcohol component to evaporate. Adaptil spray can be sprayed directly onto the bed, inside the carrier, or inside crates 15 minutes before placing the dog inside. Reapply twice a day. We do not recommend its use in the following situations If your dogs problems are not related to travel stress, or if they stem from a lack of stimulation in their environment, or if your dog urinates or defecates in the car due to lack of training or medical reasons, you should always consult a veterinarian. In cases of aggression towards people or other dogs and puppies, we strongly recommend seeking advice from your veterinarian or a behavior specialist. To prevent nausea or vomiting, we recommend not feeding your dog for six hours before the car trip. Do not restrict access to water before traveling. Warning Do not spray directly onto the animal.
