Activon Tube Medical Honey Pure, sterile Manuka honey in a tube, providing effective protection against a broad spectrum of bacteria. It maintains a moist environment for wound healing, effectively prevents tissue demarcation, and ensures clean wound edges. It also significantly reduces the odor of malodorous wounds. Areas of application: Activon can be used for all wounds, but especially for coated, necrotic or foul-smelling wounds. Pressure ulcers Venous and/or arterial wounds Diabetic wounds Surgical wounds Burns Skin sampling sites Deep wounds, such as fistulas Application: Twist off the cap and apply directly to the wound, or use in combination with Activon Tulle or Algivon to increase the concentration of Activon Honey on the wound surface. Cover the wound with a secondary dressing, such as an absorbent foam dressing or film. We recommend our Eclypse products for this purpose. Use one tube for one patient only. Discard the tube and cap after use.
