Product features: Acrylastic Bandages for compression and functional dressings are worn for extended periods. A secure, non-slip fit and precise control of compression pressure are essential. Acrylastic meets these requirements and offers added comfort thanks to its water-repellent fabric. Acrylastic is a self-adhesive bandage with a maximum longitudinal elongation of approximately 60%. Highly twisted warp threads are woven into the backing, providing strong compression and lasting longitudinal elastic support. Acrylastic is sterilizable, radiolucent, and skin-friendly. The bandage can be used for several days, even on sensitive skin. Acrylastic is made of 100% cotton coated with an acrylate adhesive. Latex-free formula. Not made with natural rubber latex. Areas of application: Increased venous return in cases of insufficiency of the venous and lymphatic systems, especially of the legs and their associated diseases (e.g. thrombosis and leg ulcers as well as thrombophlebitis). Local compression treatment. Hematoma prophylaxis and promotion of resorption of already formed hematomas, especially in the joint area (e.g. after punctures). Functional treatment for injuries to muscles, ligaments and joints, as well as for protection against injuries in pre-damaged joints. Use as an underbandage before applying Leukotape.
