Characteristics: Accu-Chek Softclix ensures minimal pain thanks to the possibility of adjusting the penetration depth according to the patients skin type, through 11 depth levels marked from 0.5 to 5.5 (corresponding to a range from 0.8 mm to 2.3 mm), and to the particular shape of the Accu-Chek Softclix Lancet lancet coated with a special silicone film to further facilitate penetration. Furthermore, Accu-Chek Softclix uses a mechanism that allows for a smooth and constant movement of the lancet both during penetration and retraction when it returns to its starting position, preventing lateral jolts and avoiding those lacerations of the skin in the sampling area responsible for the annoying sensation of pain after the prick.
