ABENA liquid soap is gentle and effective for hair and body. It is useful for dry scalp and contains essential oils that provide additional hydration and smoothness to the skin, while having a delicate fragrance. The skin is surrounded by a protective layer of lipids. When changes occur in this hydrolipidic layer, epidermal water evaporates more quickly, leading to dehydration and dryness, with the result that the skin becomes rough, with intense flaking and itching. Causes of dry skin: Pathological causes Diabetes mellitus Kidney failure Hypothyroidism Atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis, psoriasis LymphomaNon-pathological causes: Environmental conditions: Cold weather, the use of central heating and air conditioning dry out the atmosphere. Hot baths: Prolonged exposure to hot water removes the skins protective fats. Using harsh soaps: Removes the skins protective layer of fat.
