BRITTA TECKENTRUP has written and illustrated more than one hundred and twenty childrens books, which have been published in more than twenty countries. Her books include Before I Wake up, The Seedling That Didnt Want to Grow, the A Big Hedgehog and Little Hedgehog Adventure series, When I See Red, When I Feel Brave, and The Swing, all published by Prestel. Born in Hamburg, Germany, she currently lives with her family in Berlin.
